South African coach, Peter de Villiers, named the 22-member Springbok squad today who will face the British & Irish Lions on Saturday, 20 June in Durban.
Francois Steyn replaces the incumbent (but injured) Conrad Jantjes at fullback; Adi Jacobs is in at 13 ahead of Jaque Fourie (I would have picked J Fourie to start); Ruan Pienaar recovered from injury to retain the flyhalf berth ahead of Morné Steyn who had a great Super 14 season and the fetcher, Heinrich Brüssow, who had a great game for the Cheetahs against the Lions earlier this month, comes in for Schalk Burger who couldn't recover from injury in time.
